Deonee High

Law Clerk

As a Law Clerk with The Michigan Law Firm, PC, Deonee works to support our attorneys with legal research and writing.  Deonee strives to assist Michigan accident victims recover the compensation they deserve and helps them achieve their legal goals, one step at a time through the complicated and lengthy litigation process. 

Deonee attended George Washington University and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology. After college, Deonee enrolled in the Michigan State University College of Law in East Lansing, MI, and recently earned her JD.  An active law student, Deonee was heavily involved with the Public Interest Law Society, the Trial Advocacy Board, and the Black Law Student Association.  She was also a strong member of her law school arbitration team, helping them win multiple national awards at advocacy competitions.  Deonee’s legal experience includes working as a law clerk for several law firms and being a student attorney with the Washtenaw County Public Defender's office.  Deonee is also a certified mediator.
